I’ve just spend five days in Dublin and wanted to show you that trip through the lens of my camera and ofc give some commentary. I read a book when i was about 9 or 10 called “Eine Tüte grüner Wind” (a bag of green wind), it’s about a girl that goes to the irish highlands to visit her aunt. In the beginning she is not in the mood to explore the island, but with time and her aunts help she learns to appreciate and love the beauty of Irelands nature.

We went to a walk at the irish coast and i’m telling you i have never seen anything as beautiful as those cliffs.
Dublin has everything a good city should: the ocean, historical landmarks, free museums and good book stores.

We spent our time in dublin exploring the zoo and parks, the beautiful old industrial buildings and halls and learning about irish history (throughout their history they’ve had a long and bloody fight for independence from the united kingdom, which led them to become very outspoken on other colonial crimes, like for example the palestinian fight for independence and Netanyahus human rights crimes).
I visited the Trinity College library and marvelled at its beautiful architecture and all the books it held and still holds. Libraries like these make me cry every time I step foot in them … I just find it so crazy to be in a place where so much knowledge and history is stored and wish I could read every single one of the books that are stored there.

So to wrap this up, I really loved Dublin and it will definitely not be the last time I will visit Ireland.
Love,
